Cancellation Policy

CHANGES TO EXISTING BOOKING

Any changes that are made to any existing booking shall be subject to certain charges levied by the respective airline, apart from the service fee charged by Luftsafar. The User shall be obligated to pay applicable charges in the event of any alteration or modification to an existing booking. However, depending on the airline's policy and fare class, charges for changes or modifications to existing bookings may vary.

All cancellations made directly with the airline need to be intimated to Luftsafar, in order to initiate the  process of refund. The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the mode of payment, bank etc. The refund shall be processed after deducting the Luftsafar service fee which is independent of the convenience fee as  mentioned above.

In the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets, upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount.

Please check the travel rules of all regulatory websites prior to booking as well as commencing international  travel. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure his or her eligibility to enter the destination or transit countries (as applicable).Luftsafar accepts no liability in this regard.

Flight Cancellation Policy:

  1.  Flights booked on this website are governed by the terms and conditions of the airfare you purchased and are determined by the Airline (not Luftsafar).
  2.  In most cases, airfares are fully non-refundable and non-transferable.
  3.  Airline charges or part or full cancellation fees may apply to your particular airfare.
  4.  Cancellation charges are inclusive of Airline charges + Luftsafar charges+ Any Upfront discount or Promo code.
  5.  Rescheduling Charges are inclusive of Airline Charges + Luftsafar charges + Fare difference ( Depending on time frame).
  6.  Date change charges are applicable only on selecting the same airline on a new date. The difference in fares between the old and the new booking will also be payable by the user and the number of allowed free date changes may also be applicable.
  7.  In the event that a user does not embark on the onward journey, the entire PNR pertaining to that booking shall be automatically cancelled by the airline. In such a scenario, Luftsafar has no control in the said process nor will be obligated to provide alternate bookings to the user.The cancellation penalty in such an event shall be as per the applicable airline rules.
  8. For domestic bookings, passengers should be required to submit a cancellation request as per the airlines policy.
  9. For international bookings, passengers should be required to submit a cancellation request as per the airlines policy

Hotel Cancellation Policy :

Passengers are requested to go through cancellation policy of the hotel at the time of booking made through Luftsafar. However, in any case Luftsafar charges and/or Any Upfront discount or Promo code are not refundable.

Cabs Cancellation Policy:

Passengers are requested to go through cancellation policy of the cabs at the time of booking made through Luftsafar. However, in any case Luftsafar charges and/or Any Upfront discount or Promo code are not refundable

Special Cancellation Conditions:

Certain air, car, hotel booking will apply additional cancellation charges. These cancellation conditions and costs are located under the pricing on the individual pages and will be clearly advised to you in writing at time of booking.

Amendment Fees:

Any amendments made to confirmed bookings will incur a fee.The fees are charged per amendment. This is in addition to any fees that may be levied by the supplier or airline.

Change Of Itinerary After Booking Has  Commenced:

Any alteration or cancellation of services after your booking has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.

Refunds:

All refund requests must be in writing, and made direct to us or through the Agent from whom the travel arrangements were purchased.

Claims must be made prior to departure time or the time frame mentioned in cancellation policy of Airline, Hotels or Cabs. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness. These must be claimed through your travel Insurance. No refunds will be made for services once travel arrangements have commenced. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available. if payment done twice for one transaction, the one transaction amount will be refunded as Deposit in Luftsafar Account within 07 to 10 working days. The refund will be processed only after it is received from the airline/supplier in the company's bank account.
